Horseback Riding Lessons
Horseback riding lessons in Davis County, Layton, Utah. At Campbell Farms we offer western style horseback riding lessons. Ages start at 4 years old and up. We focus on safety first by teaching our student proper horse handling, grooming, tacking and riding. Campbell Farms has amazing ponies and horses that take great care of their riders.
Lessons begin May of each year and go through September. In May lessons are in the afternoons, then in June July and the first half of August lesson are held in the Mornings because it's too hot in the afternoons. When school starts lessons are in the afternoons again. We start scheduling for May lessons April 15th. Participants can start lessons anytime throughout the riding lesson months. **Please note weeks we have Pony Camp there will not be any riding lessons.
Please contact us and we will send you the current months scheduling calendar. Calendars will be available the last week of the previous month. Each month has its own individual calendar with specific days and times lessons are held. No lessons on Holidays. The calendar is not posted online.
When you receive the calendar you will let us know what days and times you would like lessons.
Little Riders group lessons: Kids ages 4-7 years old. 30 minute lesson - $30
Group Lessons: 8 years & up. 45 minute lesson - $45
Each Group riding lesson has 3-5 riders, with a horse or pony for each rider.
Private Riding Lessons: $65 for an hour Small Group Horseback Riding at the farm: Call for pricing
NEW! 2025 Horse Knowledge Classes: 8 years old and older. Non-riding class one hour long. $20 per class. Learn the basics of horse handling, health, care, gain confidence through working on the ground with horses.
-Weight limit for riders is 200 pounds.
*24 hour notice must be given for lessons to be rescheduled. Lessons will be rescheduled if the weather is bad.
All riding lesson participants are required to wear certified riding helmets, boots and long pants. Certified riding helmets are provided.
